The Wedding of River Song thoughts.ASHSJDAJS. I watched it hours ago and my thoughts are still everywhere. It was fantastic and beautiful and even though I hoped it wasn’t her wedding to the Doctor, I actually loved it. Mostly I loved the Doctor referencing his past, with the mention of Rose and his call to the brigadier. I teared up during River’s speech about the Doctor being loved, and even though I knew the Doctor wouldn’t die, I was still quite emotional in the lead up. And I was so close with the ganger thing. Teselecta, not Ganger. There were so many “clues” throughout the season that ended up being irrelevant. Moffat is still a troll. The best part of the whole episode was Captain Rory “Badass” Williams. Rory is definitely the best character from new Who (with the exception of the Doctor, of course), I will be completely heartbroken when he leaves. Next season is going to be so awesome. I guess we’ll have the Christmas special to tide us over.
